About ESST

The Language Acquisition Programme

South Africa’s multilingual society gives us reason to celebrate. As a means of fostering our languages and improving communication amongst South African citizens, ESST has developed several easy-to-use guides introducing the basics of isiXhosa, isiZulu and Northern Sotho in an interactive and communicative manner.

1995+ The Language Acquisition and Development Programme is aimed at adults learning IsiXhosa, IsiZulu and Northern Sotho as an additional language. It has been proclaimed by language experts as the best of its kind available. Each language course consists of nine modules or sets. Each set contains the following:

• The Fun Way to Learn Zulu/Xhosa/Northern Sotho
• Our Own Language Fun Book
• Newsletter
• Audio CD.
