Fading Voices Documentary

This documentary captured the customs still practiced by elderly Zulu people in the rural areas of KwaZulu-Natal, preserving in this way invaluable information which otherwise would have been lost.

The initiative was a most enriching experience in multiple ways and again highlighted the critical need for us, as a rainbow nation consisting of many cultures, to learn more about each other’s culture and to preserve what is valuable about our heritage.

How else can we expect to live in harmony!

Due to the positive outcomes of the programme, research has been initiated into Xhosa culture in the rural areas of the Eastern Cape, and we hope to expand the programme into the other provinces as well.
